Nobody ever did. Called back a week later to check in. The front desk lady heard my name, heard what I was calling about, and hung up on me. I called right back thinking it was an accident. The only thing I can think of is that because I didn’t get my bloodwork done through their office or through insurance, they just don’t want to deal with it. I’m not asking for anything wild. The local perspective.
I went here for a normal annual physical for my first time, which is covered by my insurance and most insurance plans. Dr.Pfister also told me that it is free because it’s just a physical. However, I received a lab bill for $77 afterwards. I called and was told to contact the insurance. My insurance told me that 2 claims were filed and the 1 was not filed as preventative. I called the doctors office back and told them what the insurance said and was offered no solution, just the run around and was given attitude when I did was not disrespectful at all. I simply just did what I was told in a normal voice. I ended up disconnecting the call, as we were not getting anywhere and I was told the person on the phone was the only one who could help. I will never return here again.
I was neglected by him. After my knee surgery, a big blister came up near my foot. I told him about it that I was it was hurting and I have a lot of trouble with it. He's all he said was that half don't worry about it.. The home health agency that came out. I asked them to call the doctor about the wound on my foot. He did call him and I was neglected again. He didn't do anything about that wound. After much complaining about my wound he finally sent a referral!
Great Dr , he listens , you dont feel judged as he is recommending possible treatment options. He does treat the entire family.
Dr. Pfister has been my PCP since I relocated to TX in 2020. In that time, he and his staff have consistently demonstrated kindness and professionalism. I never feel rushed or unheard during our visits. He thoughtfully answers my questions, and he genuinely considers my input to collaboratively address my concerns. As far as PCPs go, he is among the best I've been fortunate enough to have.
