Dr. Worrell is a physician who genuinely cares about his patients. I've been seeing him for about 2.5 years now. I do want to be very honest though, it literally takes forever to see him. Even if you have a scheduled appointment, you should expect to wait an hour or more before being seen. That said, the wait is because he truly takes his time with each patient. He answers every question thoroughly, explains things in detail, and never makes you feel rushed. He is not trying to make a quick buck or move patients in and out. He is intentional, thoughtful, and clearly invested in your care and well being. If you are someone who values a doctor who listens and takes the time to do things right, Dr. Worrell is absolutely worth the wait. I would highly recommend trying to book the very first appointment of the day to minimize wait time.
Dr. Worrell has always been very patient and thorough with his diagnosis. He addressed all my concerns in one visit and was able to respond to my questions in a prompt manner and in a way in which I could actually understand. Thank you Dr. Worrell and staff for always making my visits pleasant.
I had a deeply uncomfortable experience with this doctor yesterday. During a conversation before the consultation, he asked where I was from. After I answered, he went silent for several awkward seconds. What was most disturbing was that he then asked the medical assistant whether my immigration status had been checked before the consultation. Both the assistant and I were taken aback, especially since all required documents had already been provided beforehand. This behavior was inappropriate, disrespectful, and completely contrary to the professionalism and ethical standards expected from a physician. Moreover, I came because I had a lower back pain and even if it was written on the paperwork I provided he didn’t let me the opportunity to explain because he was too busy presenting me a treatment about MTHFR gene mutation that I clearly don’t need. I do not recommend this physician.
I have had a bad experience with this office. The worst I ever been to. When I needed a refill for my high blood pressure which stays high. They would not refill it until I came back to the office trying to get paid for another visit. Then I paid for a service I did not get asked to be refunded and been waiting for my refund since March. Everytime I call about my refund I get some bull crap excuse. I would not recommend this office period
