Yesterday my pain management Dr looked at my knee and said he would have to schedule fluid removal for early next week. He saw and felt where there was fluid, the tightness. After a painful night, this morning was too much. I called Dr Palacios at 0630 to leave a message and see about his scheduling. Dr Luis Palacios called me back seconds later. Not his office, him. He told me to come in at 8. I told him I was tight for cash since I don’t have insurance. He charged me a lot less than a regular appointment. He drained it, almost 30cc. Injected cortisone. I kept it elevated as much as possible and the releaf keeps coming. With modern medicine being the way it is nowadays, that short visit saved me a from a bad weekend! Thanks Dr Palacios!
