Patient Bewar Family Medical Clinic has three different locations, and one phone number. It only goes to the Cooper location. It's hard to talk to my nurse practitioner or even the nurse, because everything is set up for Cooper. The receptionist bless her heart sounds so busy. And tries to be so professional. But has dropped a few of my calls while I have been on hold. Or I have to leave a message for my location. That doesn't call me back for my concerns, till later in the day. Or the next day. Also beware they will want you to be seen every month no matter what. If you want a refill have to be seen, and do bloodwork every visit. They are only about the money here. Call a day before your appointment to cancel 45.00 dollar charge. THEY WILL NOT REFILL NO MEDS. UNLESS SEEN. They won't give multiple months prescriptions. Not even for birth control, that my daughter takes. It is just plain ridiculous how they treat Patients over money. This is a revision of my first post. 4 months later. Still same thing every month. They have even asked me to take this post down. Not a chance!!! Again beware!!!

I also recommend carefully reviewing your explanation of benefits and asking the office for the billing codes they submit to your insurance. In our experience, the charges seemed unusually high for the level of care provided, and it’s worth understanding exactly what services were billed and whether they accurately reflect the visit. By the time everything was billed, the cost of this visit was higher than what we’ve typically paid for an urgent care visit, despite receiving significantly less attention. I took my brother to a new patient appointment to establish care at this clinic and the experience was 10/10. The staff was friendly, genuine, and provided exceptional bedside manners. The NP, Rachel was extremely thorough in her assessment and Reinette ensured that my brother was comfortable during his visit. She even offered us water and Gatorade upon checkout. Rachel has treated me with great kindness in my pain and ordered more tests than any other PCP I’ve had. She got my insurance to 100% pay for a $1600 medication I take. She even filled a week of my current medicine for before I was able to get to my new specialist today. I’m thankful to have her around the corner, she was the only relief I had last week.
