Positive feedback highlights how the team is attentive and responsive, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere that eases patient visits. Comments about the front desk indicate that staff members are organized and efficient at managing appointments, which enhances the overall experience for patients. Appointment Availability

This shift apparently contrasts with previous practices where scheduling was more flexible.

The efficient management of time appears to be part of the clinic’s operational strengths, as noted by various reviewers who appreciate timely service during their visits.

Billing Concerns

A significant concern arises from the transition to the MDVIP model, which involves an annual membership fee that some patients view as exorbitant. Reviewers express frustration over being informed that they must join this program in order to continue receiving care from Dr. Balderas.

  • Friendly and professional staff who create a welcoming environment.
  • Timely appointments with minimal wait times reported by multiple reviewers.

This practice is a SORE disappointment. They have morphed into some kind of "medical care for the rich", where you have to pay a fee of $2,150 just to be able to see Dr. Balderas for a year!!!! Don't bother calling this place unless you are rich and privileged, because those are the only people they care about now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He used to be a good doctor. I wouldn't say that anymore.

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Balderas and his incredible staff—especially Melissa. When I first heard about the MDVIP program, I was honestly hesitant. Paying out of pocket for something different than traditional care made me question if it would truly be worth it. But after six months in the program, I can confidently say this is the only way to go. The level of care I receive is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. For the first time, I feel like I matter—not just another number in a waiting room. Dr. Balderas takes the time to listen, explain, and truly understand what’s going on with my health. Melissa and the rest of the team are always friendly, attentive, and responsive, making each visit or interaction smooth and reassuring. If you’re on the fence about joining MDVIP, let me tell you—it’s an investment in your health and peace of mind. As long as I can afford it, I’ll be sticking with this team. The personalized attention, proactive care, and genuine compassion have made all the difference in my wellness journey. Thank you, Dr. Balderas and team, for redefining what healthcare should feel like!

I'd like to start with Dr. Balderas. He is not just the best doctor I've ever had, he's one of the nicest people I've ever met. He listens to me genuinely, he's empathetic, helpful, and always on time. I'm so grateful that someone recommended him to me and I doubt very much I'll ever find another doctor like him. As far as the staff is concerned, I have absolutely no complaints. They are kind and helpful and run a tight ship. Again, all of my appointments are always on time, and they are are very welcoming. Zero complaints and would highly recommend. Thank you for everything Dr. Balderas & staff!

First and foremost I want to say that I always enjoyed and felt extremely taken care of with Dr. Balderas and any of the Nurse Practitioner's I saw during my 7 years of care here. I was always able to get same/next day appointments, the staff was beyond caring and it was a comfortable home for my medical needs. I recommended anyone who would listen to me when they asked for a physician. With that being said, this switch to MDVIP was quite a shock and felt like a watering down of an amazing practice. The fact that we were email/phone blasted to learn about and join this program at a very steep cost was disheartening. The final straw and why I switched was the letter we received saying that if we were not a part of the program we would no longer be seen and needed to find a new physician. I just hope the same heart/care still exists for those who chose to move past that paywall.

If I could give zero stars I would. This facility used to be great and used to schedule appointments same week. Well.... Now that I am trying to get in for an annual physical I am being told I have to pay a membership fee in order to even be a patient in their system! Now why in God's name would I pay for a membership to see a dr when there are thousands of doctors in this area with NO membership fee?! Mind you this "membership" fee is $2,000 a year and you still have to pay all your deductibles and everything just like every other doctor. NOT WORTH IT! DON'T BOTHER TO WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!
