I called to make an appointment today. No need to mention, I called them last week and they told me my new insurance is not in their network, however my insurance said they are. Palma, picked up the phone. Any question I asked, she answered it in a very rude and short tempered way and at the end when I asked her why she is talking to me this way, she said because I asked too many questions. I asked to be transferred to a manager, she hung up on me. I called again, and asked to be transferred to a manager, she said: “by the way, you have a balance, u better call the billings, I am not making any appointments for you.” I hung up on her and called and left a voicemail for somebody, I hope that’s an office manager! Also, my insurance has paid that balance back in November and I have the claim number and everything… this was the rudest and most bizarre customer service interaction I have ever had! No wonder, they have such low reviews!

Called a week prior to set up an appointment as a new patient. Day of the appointment comes and I called to confirm where the appointment would be as I don't know the area. Person who answered said there was no appointment for new patients and my name nor my date of birth were on schedule. I record all calls I make and have a recording of the time I set up the appointment. Avoid this practice and go elsewhere, chances are you won't even get in the door.
Front office staff are terrible. After almost 20 years of visiting this practice I decided to quit going here after RUDE office staff gave me grief before I even walked in the door. Despite the fact masks are no longer required, these clowns demand you not only wear a mask but wait out in the MAIN HALL/ BUILDING LOBBY for your appointment, AND give them your credit card number over the phone while waiting in such venue. I saw other patients just walk in to office yet they told me to 'wait outside' . I'm not giving out a credit card number while standing in a hallway, I'm not STANDING IN A HALLWAY where there are no chairs to begin with , and furthermore, don't get all huffy and offended when people balk at such insidious power trip rules you make up. The rude women in the office are immature and do not know how to handle the public, they certainly do not have the maturity level to understand how such bizarre rules will upset patients. Don't waste your time with this place
I've been coming here since back in the late 90's , My best Dr. besides Dr. Henry is Dr. Laura White and her nurse I believe her name is Tammy ( may have spelled the name wrong) she is the best nurse I've ever had! . My complaint is mostly towards the front desk lady not ladies , but "LADY" (the scheduling nurse) . THE RUDE one . not only rude in person but also on the phone , I almost thought it was just her personality until a lady of color came in and she was super nice and I though OK she's RUDE to certain people. However I will still be kind say my thank you and my please and yes ma'am and such.
I have been seeing Dr. Henry at Texas Family Healthcare for over 15 years now. He is wonderful and the service and medical care has always been fantastic. I love the fact that they have onsite x-ray, blood draw, and other tests which means that I don’t need to go make separate visits to blood draw centers or imaging centers. I was surprised to see a few negative reviews about Texas Family Healthcare. While I can’t comment on those particular instances, I can say that I have received excellent care there for many years now and have never had those problems. Dr. Henry spends a lot of time with the patient unlike some other doctors that I have had in the past while in college in a different state. Highly recommend Dr. Henry and Texas Family Healthcare.
