My family has been going to ARC for several years for different needs and generally have positive experiences. This visit was disapponting. Our usual doctor (unavailable until September) always offers targeted care, but this doctor refused that care, then contradicted their own statement, and left a gap in the continuity of care needed for a chronic condition. That's after extra care was taken to communicate to scheduling staff the requurement for a doctor who could address specific needs. The staff took extra time to cover that need but we were still left where we began.
My husband had a follow up appointment that was scheduled 6 months ago. We've been waiting so long for this appointment and already took a day off from work to see Dr. Chen. But it got canceled couple days before the appointment. It's very disappointment for this short notification and cancellation that causes so much inconvenience to us.

she is the worst doctor i have ever seen. her bedside manner is unprofessional. i had a follow up visit with her from the ER for severe back pain that i’ve been dealing with for 6 months at this point. she comes in the room asks me questions i tell her that my symptoms have worsened and that it is effecting my everyday life and she said “by looking at you, you seem fine and not in pain” when i’m in excruciating pain crying hunched over. i told her i wanted an mri done and she laughed and said insurance will most likely decline it after going back and forth she ended up putting an order in. if you can avoid her and go see a different doctor she was rude and gave me the run around. No Care for my pain whatsoever.
