1st I wanna say Dr. Thompson as a doctor I really respect, but as the HSC specifically policy on appointments I consider to be among worst. Have all but few (aprox. 3) being on time Hsc has 15min grace period, I arrived 13 min and told had to reschedule even after talking to manager, said his rule was 10 min which was never told till at the time, so being amongst the 3rd dr. From hsc to have had problems with. Dropping all but 1. Now decided not to reschedule. And now have a bill as a No show, until recently HSC, had been patiently friendly

I was called by Rosa Amaya because the pediatric floor sent to my 17 year old son's info to them as a referral. I express to her that my son had recently been in the ICU and the hospital for over a week and needed to follow up, have a med check, and just generally be seen by a doctor after his hospital stay. She told me that she could not promise any kind of med check or med step down on the first appointment. I asked her if I could speak to a nurse and I was denied because he isn't technically a patient yet. We started the process of making an appointment, and I asked her for pricing because we are self-pay. She gave me a very broad range of $150 to $350. I asked for a more precise amount, and she told me that it seemed like it just wasn't a good fit and that she was not going to make an appointment for my son based on mine and her conversation. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was denied that. I asked what her direct supervisor's name was and she refused to give it to me. She flat out refused for my son to be a patient with them. I will be filing a complaint with their patient advocacy department.

Absolutely terrible. They will not refill any prescriptions you bring from another primary care doctor even though they scan them in the system. If they don’t prescribe them, they won’t refill them. Save your time and money. Avoid this family practice. We are very disappointed in their customer service. I have filed a compliant with Cigna as well. They would not even refill my Flonase, because another Doctors office prescribed it. Makes no sense at all.

Sometimes it did but usually it did not happen overnight. But visits in partnership for my care with this location over the years for osteoarthritis in my knees and neck has meant a boost in my frame of mind because of the restoration of my mobility and an improvement in my quality of life because they eliminated my pain with none invasive manipulations. I am just so grateful!

On my third Dr. Still in pain, still in physical therapy. For what? No diagnosis, because no data, because no testing. I finally asked why and got a nerve conductivity test. They lost the referral... going from 2nd to 6th floor referral was lost. After I called several times, (each time told someone would get back to me in a few days [no one ever did]) they finally found my referral. I had my test which for some reason they only do on Mondays unless it snows??? Then they can do it on other days. Now I am waiting for a referral to a pain doctor ( NOT one of theirs, I want a real Dr) I was told it would take 21 days. 21 days to FAX A REFERRAL. I have called and again been told someone would get back to me "in a few days" That was 10 days ago. Being a glutton for punishment and really tired of being in constant pain I am about to call again. Once I get my referral I am gone! I have an appointment with a new Dr with Texas Health. Wish me luck.
