He wasn't drained, properly diagnosed nor treated or put in a hospital for further testing and was embarrassed by your reaction to the appearance of legs, feet and swelling elbow- I had him taken to the emergency room when he could barely walk due to the fluid in his legs and abdomen-they did more in the hospital than you did the last 6 months-his labs showed issues that were improperly addressed, he was in distress and it was missed. My grandfather is currently hospitalized after suffering a stroke and being diagnosed with liver disease and congestive heart failure (CHF). Prior to these diagnoses, he sought medical care from Dr. Ramos because he was experiencing significant swelling (edema) in his legs, feet, and elbow. Rather than thoroughly addressing his concerns, Dr. Ramos reportedly dismissed his symptoms as simply “dry skin.” The swelling and other warning signs were not given the attention they warranted. What is most troubling is the way my grandfather was treated. He felt dismissed and disregarded, as though his concerns did not matter because of his age. Every patient deserves to be heard, respected, and evaluated carefully, regardless of how old they are. Looking back at the seriousness of his current medical condition, it is deeply upsetting to think that these symptoms may not have been taken seriously when he first sought help. This experience has left our family disappointed and heartbroken. Shame on anyone who allows a patient to feel invisible when they are seeking medical care and help. Shame on you. Edit: my grandfather passed away. Had you diagnosed him correctly or referred him to the correct specialist he may still be with us. Do not trust this doctor!
The rfmg has been great to me ever since I became a first time patient. The staff has always been good and my doctor and her team, I recommend to everyone. I brought my mom a couple of times and she loved it.
Was having the worst day recently divorced from my wife of 24 years came into the office and all the staff in there from the front office to the nurses to the doctor treated me like I really mattered. Especially the nurse taking me from the front to the back I wish I would have gotten her name but she listened to me tell her how lost I was without my wife she always organized my medical things. She walked me right back up to the front organized all my appointments made sure I had the date saved on my phone she was an angel. Again thank your whole staff there they were amazing.
Dr Ramos is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor, one of the best I have seen in my 50 years. His staff are Great and I'm always treated well. I drive from about 45 minutes away, but I can't get the same quality care where I live at all and it's well worth the trip. Thank you Dr Ramos and also thanks to Nadia, for all the help over the year.
