I've been going to Dr. Nguyen as my PCP since about 2014, and she's been excellent the entire time. She's very efficient, and at the same time never makes me feel rushed. She listens well, is knowledgeable and proactive, and she's helped me through a number of challenges while also providing great referrals when needed.

I don’t think I’ve ever waiting longer than 15 min at arrival, front desk is fast and will answer phone quickly. The doctor has helped me with minor issues as well as a pregnancy and referrals to specialists. She has called me to follow up on results and educated me when I don’t understand how to care for myself during illness. I have nothing but positive experiences with this office.
Dr Nguyen and her medical assistant are a great team. Quick, attentive, and warm. Unfortunately that review cannot be applied to the front staff. I'm still a bit baffled by the encounter I had but reading some of the reviews I'm not surprised. As I was leaving she stated I owed $90, I had a similar experience at my dermatologist office about a week prior so I knew that the portal view was incorrect and that our family out of pocket had been met when I explained that to her, she curtly said well you can just pay the $90 now and will refund you back if that's the case. When I pushed back and said no I'd like to talk to my insurance she rolled her eyes, and acted like I was causing them a huge delay when I was the only one in the lobby. It took a few minutes but I was able to reach an insurance agent who again confirmed what I had said above, and she still responded with well the portal is still showing that you owe $90 - because of course a patient has control over the IT problems of an insurance plan - I finally had to ask her what do you need and just put her on the phone with the insurance agent who was much kinder and frankly had more patience with her than I did. I'm going through this much detail because I literally had the same experience with my dermatology office a week ago and that was not treated with the same rudeness - and I know that it's actually possible to engage with patients in a way that's respectful. I also didn't appreciate that she was talking about me within earshot to the gentleman in the back. So I'm just going to put this here in case anyone from their office actually reviews these but as the patient it's well within my rights to advocate for myself, so when I think something is incorrect I'm also allowed to check in the same appointment and not have to pay incorrectly.
This person's review is spot on: "it’s very difficult to get someone on the phone. What’s the point if her infrastructure and the lackluster staff makes everything HARDER? (I think her practice is more for people looking for laser treatments and cosmetic enhancements; not actually family medicine. If you are the former, I think this is the place for you. If you’re looking for an actual internist, to do more than a cursory exam, keep shopping for your PCP.)"
They do a great job, Dr Nguyen is nice, gives good tips for an annual physical for me (35YO MALE). Reception is fast and no frills, didnt have any issues and got in at my exact spot time. Will be back for sure as primary care dr. In the city easy to get to. Lots of free parking and valet also
