I used to love it here, but lately it has gone down hill. During my last visit the PA was supposed to lower the dosage of one of my medications and send to the pharmacy. When this didn’t happen, I followed up and was told that it was going to be done at my follow up appointments but I didn’t schedule. This is not at all what was discussed and to top it off, I receive all of my results in the app and nothing was abnormal. It feels like they are just trying to squeeze an extra visit out from me and it’s not a good patient experience. Every other doctor I have ever had, only schedules follow ups if there are issues with your blood work. I tried to resolve this by communicating with the office and I was just told that I’d have to make another visit to have it taken care of. They already charged me a copay I shouldn’t have been charged for my physical and now we are refusing to prescribe the medication as needed. Seems shady…

★ 4.6 · 825 reviewsYall have just lost a patient. I’ve been a patient for over a year. I wrote a long detailed explanation of why and then deleted it. In a nutshell, referrals were not made that I needed and this is now my second visit and copay that was purposeless. To put a cherry on top, Angela Oyelami came in to ‘explain’ that it was basically my fault and that I should have followed up (how when I wasn’t given any information?). She then handed me papers, and said ‘you can go now and schedule your 3 month visit’ and walked out. After I went to the front to schedule, I looked at the papers she handed me which had none of the info I was inquiring about and went back to her to ask her to explain what the papers were for. She said, ‘what more can I explain?’ in a very condescending tone. Blessie was next to her and was sweet and let me know she submitted my prescription. So, at the end of this, I wasted money on a copay, still don’t have a referral to the dermatologist Dr Goff had told me he was recommending and now need to find a new GP. I’m pretty tolerant with a lot, but when you try to gaslight me for the services I didn’t receive, I’ll give my money and trust with my health elsewhere. Dr Goff, Ms. Oyelami is rude and needs customer service training or you will probably lose more patients like you just lost me. Thank you for the service I received prior, it made me not mind as much the long waits to be seen.
My first experiences at this practice were good. Dr. Goff was kind and took the time to explain everything clearly. Unfortunately, my recent visit was such a disappointing experience that I will be finding a new primary care provider. From the moment I arrived, the front office staff made me feel more like a burden than a patient. The nurse called me back by opening the door and asking, “Do you have an appointment?” She had not reviewed my chart and didn’t even know my name until I told her. The exam room itself was also concerning. It was not clean before I was brought back as there was no paper on the exam table and trash overflowing in the trash can, which immediately raised questions about attention to basic standards of care and patient experience. The most frustrating part was that I specifically requested and scheduled an annual physical with Dr. Goff. Instead, I was booked for a follow-up appointment (odd because I haven’t come for an appt in almost 2 years) with a nurse practitioner. I was then informed that my appointment would not be billed as preventive due to this scheduling error and that I would not be receiving the annual physical I had requested. After taking time off work and showing up for my appointment, learning that I had been scheduled incorrectly was incredibly disappointing and quite frankly frustrating. At that point, I chose to leave rather than proceed with an appointment that was not what I had scheduled. It’s unfortunate because I had previously thought highly of this practice, but this experience reflected poor communication, poor preparation, and a lack of respect for patients’ time. I will not be returning.
The wait may be a while, but he gives you complete attention without rushing on to the next patient. I've found that better than a short wait and a short time with a doctor. He is better than any other doctor I've had in over 40 years. The office staff is also interesting to watch and listen to, bring snacks and make it a show lol.
I absolutely love Dr.Goff and have been seeing him for over 10 years. He has a great bedside manner and fully listens to my concerns. The office staff is great and I have never had any problems with getting appointments or answering of my calls. I however would like to point out that Angela is not very welcoming and quite rude. I travel far to see Dr.Goff and dont like the treatment I am receiving as of late by this person. Im hoping that this changes on my next appointment and will give an update at that time.
