The local perspective.
We had a very positive experience with the doctor—he was truly exceptional and provided excellent care. Unfortunately, our interaction with the medical assistant was disappointing. While we were unable to get her name, she had multiple visible tattoos on her arms, which may help identify her. During our conversation about my sister’s medications, she responded with, “Damn,” in a way that felt unprofessional and judgmental. When we tried to clarify the second medication, she abruptly said, “Just write it down,” in a dismissive manner. Additionally, she firmly stated that no one was allowed to accompany my sister into the exam room, despite the front desk assistant indicating otherwise. We understand that everyone can have difficult days, but professionalism and respectful communication are always expected especially in a medical setting. We felt disrespected and dismissed, and we hope this feedback can be used constructively to improve future patient interactions.
Yesterday, Dec 2nd i went to get a check up for 2 things that i was concerned about. Keep in mind i’ve been coming to this office for years but yesterday i had the worst care in my whole time coming here. Dr Noory, came asking me what was going on with me, & i began to let her know that it was 2 concerns, she pointed out that basically i had a lot of issuee going on, which i didn’t take it in a good way. It hasn’t been the first time that she makes this type of comment before, but i usually just ignore it but this time i really didn’t feel good & to be treated with dumb comments like that i couldn’t let it go this time. Dr Noory did give me thorough explanation about my concerns, i do give her that. She does actually lets you explain yourself & gives you the according time but at the same time, i feel that she’s in a rush. Not only did i had that going on but also, when i proceded to pay my bill the office ppl were taking extra long to charge out! The older lady basically was looking at the chart upside down, multiple times, like if she was confused about something. I asked her what was going on but she didn’t give me a straight answer & called the other new girl to charge me out & she left to use the restroom without even saying anything to me. The other lady also was confused at first but she did ended up charging me an amount, which later i found out that it was wrong. They over charged for an injection that i didn’t get. NEVER have i had this type of service here. Dont get me wrong the ppl in the front have always seemed mad & not really attentive at all. But nothing compares to yesterday that they over charge me & were taking for ever to dismiss me. They also put an injection for allergies & till rn i don’t feel any relief at all. When before as soon as i would get it my allergies & cold would drastically fade away in like half an hour or so. Not saying that they’re not putting the same medication on their injections but i did go there, like a lot of ppl do, to feel relief asap with the injection. This time it felt like Dr Noory and staff were just there for the money. I spoke about another issues before leaving & it gave me that impression right off the back.
I have been a patient for more than 15 years. Great doctors & staff + affordable price, means there is always, and I mean ALWAYS a long wait. So bring your snacks, some headphones, and a fully charged cell phone to keep you busy. The veterans know to come there at least an hour before opening to get a decent spot and shorter wait time. For the new patients, here is some vital info. Cash Only, No insurance accepted, and No new patients on Saturdays. I highly recommend this place.
Never go on a Saturday when you are very sick. Arrived around 8:30am left at 1:30pm. Not even close to being called in to be seen by a doctor. Any other day is fine it's cheaper and they get the job done. As long as your ok with the long wait.
