Dr Velasquez has been my PCP for fifteen years. She’s good at listening and never seems like she is rushing through your appointment. The downside is that she is always running late, but I appreciate the full attention I get during my appointment, so it’s worth it to me.
I really like Dr. Nelly Velasquez. First of all, she is a very attentive doctor. She treats every problem you have with great interest and enthusiasm. She always goes into details, spends at least 30 minutes with the patient. I really appreciate it! She accepts many different insurances. But for me, a big plus was that private billing is also possible. The price of the visit is very reasonable. I have been visiting the doctor for about a year now, and have never had any problems. Sometimes you have to wait in line, but it is definitely worth it! ❤️
Not only does she forget to send referrals but if you make an appointment, you will NEVER be seen at that time. My husband was scheduled today at 4:40. They told him doctor will be in shortly. He just now left at 5:30 because NO ONE WAS THERE. They left without even seeing him. Don’t waste you’re time with scheduling with her.
Dr. Velasquez is one of the best doctors I have been to in years. She cares about her patients from beginning to end. You don't feel rushed and I've been lucky with never having to wait too long after my appointment time to be seen. Her staff are welcoming and warm. I would highly recommend her to family and friends.
Dr. Velasquez is exceptional. She always takes the time to listen, understand my issues and look at them holistically to determine the root cause. Most practices require doctors to spend no more that 10-15 minutes per patient, because Dr. Velasquez runs her own practice, she's able to devote more time to each patient. Depending on the complexity of her patient's issues, this can be critical to making a diagnosis and treatment plan. I cannot speak more highly of a physician; she's the best I've had.
