I have always really loved Dr. Patel and the staff at his practice. I’ve been seeing them for 10+ years. But you never truly know how valuable your PCP and their staff is until you’re in a pretty horrible situation. I came to Dr. Patel extremely sick and he did everything that he could to provide me the care that I needed to start to get better. I am thankful for my decision in choosing him as my doctor, and cannot recommend him and his practice enough to others. He has expertise, compassion, and class that exceeds all others I’ve met in the field. His front office staff is knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. The nurses are caring, have great bedside manner, and go out of their way to get all of your information. I’ve also had incredible experiences with all of the PAs at this location in the past. Definitely the place and people to put the trust of something as important as your health in. 1000/10.

You’ll lose a lot of valuable time with this physician’s office. Your experience will start with very unprofessional staff putting you on hold for one hour and then disconnecting you. When you finally get a hold of them, they claim they never put you on a one-hour hold. When you check out, they get to charge your credit card twice for the same service so that you can spend the next three months fighting off the duplicate charge. And yes, when you come in for your next annual physical, they’ll gladly tell you that your insurance company won’t cover it and you have to reschedule since this physician’s office never bothered to check if 365 days have passed since your previous visit before they confirmed the date of your annual visit.
When I first started seeing Dr. Patel, I was initially satisfied with the care I received. However, once he brought in his nurse practitioner, my experience began to decline. I saw the nurse practitioner multiple times but informed the office that I preferred to see Dr. Patel due to conflicting information and medication changes she recommended that I was not comfortable with. Despite my preference, I encountered unprofessional and rude office staff during phone calls, and the overall quality of the practice has gone downhill. Out of the blue, I received a notice stating that I had been dismissed from the practice. I’ve only seen Dr. Patel a few times, and each visit was pleasant, so this decision feels arbitrary and unprofessional. The lack of communication—no call or explanation from Dr. Patel himself—shows a lack of concern for patient care. It’s clear that the office staff likely made this decision, which reflects poorly on the practice as a whole. I’m disappointed by the lack of care and accountability, and I cannot recommend this practice to anyone seeking a doctor and staff who truly prioritize their patients’ well-being. They seem to treat patients more like numbers than individuals. I will be filing an official complaint and taking this matter to the medical board. This experience was a huge letdown, and I expected far better.
We moved to Ft worth over 16yrs ago and was hesitant about getting a new family Dr, I researched and found Dr Patel. We have been with him ever since. He is a caring, wonderful Dr and the staff is so sweet and caring as well. We love Dr Patel and his staff. Highly recommend them if you need to change your Dr.
