Family Medical Home on Dugas no longer exists. It was bought out by Wellmed and it moved to Military Dr and now off Westover Hills. The office is now in a brand new building and it already has issues. The power had gone out the day of my appointment, so they had to reschedule. The office staff and doctor are nice, but the scheduling dept. is a hot mess. I called to make an appointment on 2 separate occasions and was told I would get a call back to set that up, and both times never got a call back. I wish these big medical conglomerates would just leave good small practices alone. This medical clinic was great until Wellmed took over. Time to find a new PCP. If you're looking for a new doctor/clinic, I would say, skip this one. They don't return calls for established patients, so they definitely won't for new patients. 👎

Dr. Pinkston is very friendly and patient. This was my first time w/her and I enjoyed my session w/her via video. The only opportunity I wish was better was the turnaround in taking my blood work. I have to wait 3 weeks for my blood to be drawn and then go back after the new year to receive results. Other than that, she was very nice.
Dr. Pinkston is a lovely woman that actually listens to me and takes action when necessary. She works with me to get the best medical care for me as her patient. She has gone beyond the basics, and I so appreciate it. 8/19/2020 As usual, l Dr. Pinkston was kind and attentive and listened to my concerns. She will take steps to see that specialty physicians are referred to my issues. She went over my lab results with genuine interest and explanation for each test. I trust her and feel that she is offering me excellent care.
Today was my first video appointment with Dr. Pinkston, up to this point I've seen her nurse practitioner. Dr. Pinkston was very personable and non rushed through the visit. She made sure if I had any questions that they were answered. She explained things very thoroughly and made sure I knew what I was being prescribed and for what reason. She put my mind at ease. Every one in the office has been very polite and professional.
This place used to be great and I loved it. I never write reviews at all but had to at this point. I am switching and never returning here. They have messed my schedule up 3 times in a row as well as schedule me for a doctor in a different city. My actual doctor Clint Anderson is great but this office has not been top notch. I'm out of medication and have had to wait yet again. I had to make them print out my appointment to bring in because they lose information even after scheduling. I havnt really experienced this level of stress at a Dr office.
