Shavano Family Practice has an awesome staff, Dr. Finnie is the best, but I’ve been seeing PA Flores and she so patient, friendly and understanding. Thank goodness a friend referred me to this practice and I’m very pleased. 10/10

★ 4.4 · 180 reviewsExcellent medical care is the norm here. Dr. Finnie, Mrs. Flores,, and Mrs. Martinez are all outstanding providers, supported by a fantastic office staff. I'm sorry to see Ken Locke, P.A. retire, as he was a valued part of my care team. However, I remain very happy with the high quality of service at this practice.
My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Finnie and his excellent staff for many years. He always listens and takes the time to answer all of our questions and concerns. We recently had an issue with our Medicare Supplemental Insurance denying a claim. I called the doctor's office and explained the problem to Deedee. She took charge and contacted the Insurance company and got the problem straightened out. Thank you Deedee for your professionalism.
0/5 Do not recommend. Today I show up for my fasting blood work and the receptionist tells me the lab tech didn’t show up today so I’ll have to reschedule. A gentleman in front of me in line had just made an hour drive for his appointment, we were both in disbelief. I asked why I didn’t receive a phone call that my appointment was canceled, they said, “We just found out this morning”………well no shit, why didn’t you call us???? They said, “We’re working down the line.” Ok, if you’re calling people to cancel, how many people did you need to call before me with my 9am appointment? Unless the answer is 55, they had time. And let me also say, this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues here, and it’s not the tenth time. It’s every time. Usually for blood work I wait at least 45 minutes before getting to a room where I wait another 35 minutes and mind you, my appointments are usually at 9am and they open at 8am. How can you be 45 minutes behind when you’ve been open for an hour? I absolutely hate this place, I’ve stayed because I love the doctors at this office, they are the best. They just need new staff.
I’ve been a patient here for 20+ years it doesn’t get any better than Dr Finnie’s Outfit! PA Locke, Good Hunting! They are always striving to get you the best care possible!
