The office staff at the Bandera location which I attend are always friendly and very professional. Dr. Sanjana and his staff are great. Dr. Davis usually sees me and she’s awesome very thorough and answers any questions or concerns I may have. I’m usually in and out at the Bandera location within the hour. I look forward to many more years of service and care at Castle Hills Family Practice.

★☆☆☆☆I am extremely disappointed with how a billing dispute was handled by Rose, the office manager at the Bandera location of Castle Hills Family Practice. I requested a callback from management regarding no-show fees that had been applied to my spouse’s account and waited four weeks without receiving one. I ultimately had to call the office myself, was transferred multiple times, and received conflicting information before finally reaching Rose. The fees were being disputed because they appeared to be the result of scheduling and communication errors by the clinic. One appointment was entered on a different date than the one I specifically requested, and another appointment had been rescheduled during a confirmation call well within the office’s cancellation guidelines. Despite explaining these circumstances, my concerns were largely dismissed. What was most frustrating was the lack of accountability. Rather than investigating the issue or acknowledging the possibility of office error, I was told that administration would not remove the fees and that there was little point in escalating the matter. I was also informed that my spouse would not be seen unless the disputed fees were paid. When I asked about the complaint process, I felt my concerns were not taken seriously. I then requested that an appointment scheduled for that same day be canceled. Rose stated it would be canceled, yet about an hour later I received a text message indicating the appointment was still active. I had to call the office again and speak with another employee to ensure it was actually canceled. That situation perfectly reflected my overall concern: patients are expected to trust that scheduling and cancellation requests are handled correctly, yet when mistakes occur, the burden and financial consequences often fall on the patient. Immediately after this interaction, I changed primary care physicians. This experience demonstrated a lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism that I can no longer recommend.

Mrs. Ashley got all my referrals ready while I was getting my blood drawn and once I was finished my blood work, my paperwork was ready as well. This is a wonderful place and I recommend this place to whomever is looking for a primary doctor. Super friendly and very clean 🥰

Its a great option if you're short on time, or need a last minute appointment, or need help with basic medical issues or checkups. However, I don't like the mandatory follow up appointment and copay charged. It can also feel a bit rushed, and transactional. The office is also very bland, and feels like a clinic instead of a 'family practice'.
