Reviews for this location are so polarized, i wondered what to expect, and perhaps there is frequent staff turnover and thus inconsistent experiences, but I recommend this location based on my first visit today. Support staff was friendly, helpful. Parking was easy. Office was easy to find. My doctor, Dr Guntrum made me feel seen/heard and I could tell she cares about doing a good job.

The local perspective.
Horrible, lazy and non responsive customer service. No one follows up with you at all. Good luck if you have any billing issues. Be careful with this office. They have shady billing practices. When you try to message them on MyChart to resolve the issue, no one wants to assist you. They double billed my insurance for a visit and tried to charge me extra cause my insurance was not going to cover the double visit charge on the same day. I understand mistakes happen. But the fact that they just ignore your request for review and don't follow up, it's sad. Poor office management.
If you were to come here for an appointment, avoid Kelly Bush. After nurse taking notes of my long symptoms for the visit, she didn’t care to read it and made me repeat everything again while health in a really bad situation. And then asked me again about something I already told her about my symptoms. She did not offer any medical instructions nor give me any suggestions regarding my severe symptoms, but left me in the room waiting for an hour and said she would be back soon. Extremely unprofessional and doesn’t look like someone who works in medical care at all.
Today was my first ever visit with Baylor Family Medicine and I am thoroughly impressed! I have been looking for a PCP for years and I believe I have found one! Both Dr. Shroff and Asia the CMA were AMAZING! Asia was very educated, friendly, and personable. Dr. Shroff was very kind, patient, friendly, and professional. She listened to me and took all of my concerns seriously and immediately ordered medication, testing, labs, imaging, referrals, etc. My appointment didn’t feel rushed, and she explained everything thoroughly. She is by far the best doctor I have ever seen. Also, not even 30 mins after me leaving the office, the location where my imaging request was sent to gave me a call and scheduled me for an appointment next week. I will definitely be returning and continuing care with these two! Thank you both!
DO NOT RECOMMEND. I wish I could give 0 stars. I have experienced the following: 1. Their front desk staff in person and schedulers when you call both lack professional couth and tact. They act as if they are bothered by having to help out a patient schedule an appointment. 2. They do not have any nurse or healthcare professional for you to speak to if you are an established patient. Their guidelines are go to the ER if you cannot wait 48 hours for your provider to message you back on MyChart, even if it is a quick and simple medical question. 3. This is only about my provider, but I felt unheard. The medical assistant for my provider felt very scripted and non-personal. I went in pain, and so my BP was high because I was in pain… they wanted to prescribe BP medication immediately when I have traditionally had perfect BP numbers. My provider felt like she entered the room with an opinion and agenda already in her head, and did not “hear” anything I had to say once she got in the room. 4. I spent 10 minutes with my provider in the room, yet they billed my insurance for a longer appointment time. If you come here, check your billing very closely! This makes me so disappointed as Baylor is supposed to be top notch and kind… this clinic misses the mark all the way around. Do better, Baylor!!
